A whole house water filter is used to ensure all the water flows into the house is treated clean water. There are several benefits of using a whole house water filter. By installing a whole house water filter, we can ensure only clean and filtered water emerges from every water source in the house. All the chemicals and Chlorine are removed as soon as they enter the home’s plumbing system. Without all these chemicals and Chlorine, the clothes washing will be cleaner as these chemicals are no longer trapped in the clothing. The dish washing will also be cleaner as soap scum on dishes will be reduced.
By removing all the chemicals and contaminants, the air will be cleaner too and hence this will help to improve the air quality at home as well as to reduce the risk of suffering from asthma and allergies. In other words, the overall health of the family members will improve if the house is installed with the whole house water filtration system . Of course, the most obvious result will be a cleaner drinking and showering water.

Space shuttle Atlantis launched this Monday. Starting off the count down to the final 5 space shuttle missions. Atlantis is due to use its large cargo capacity to bring up important spare parts to the international space station. It is important for NASA to bring as many of the large spare parts as they can to the space station while the work horse space shuttles are still in service. NASA has set the space shuttles to retire in 2010 after giving 30 years of service to NASA. There have been a total of 6 space shuttles in the program. Three of the six are due to have their final missions in 2010 and retire in working order. Many concepts have emerged for new crew carriers to take men and equipment into space, but NASA has yet to announce its solid plans for the future of space exploration. Many of the concepts however take into account the design of previous space missions taking many of the concepts (with new technology of course) of the Apollo era rockets.

Google’s newest innovation is a super email, social network client called Google Wave. Part email, part instant messenger, part social network, Google Wave is designed to merge all of your most used features into one communication tool. Designed to make realtime collaboration and communication seamless and easy, Google Wave has made a big splash. With limited first run by invitation only Google has decided to keep the initial users to a minimum. Invitations can be requested on the Google wave site, but seem to be in short supply. In true Google fashion we hope to see a long running beta, like Gmail with continual updates and innovations. Interesting enough the inspiration for the name Google Wave comes from the cult classic television show Firefly where they used devices to communicate with a wave, or video communication. Google Wave promises to be a popular communication integration tool for many applications including the work place. An all in one web based system will be attractive for many businesses, from small to large.

Alkaline water ionizers are a big help for dehydration. Remember our bodies are two thirds water? Some of the more common effects of dehydration include migraines, type 11 diabetes, hypertension, weight gain and lower back pain among other. Dehydration can also manifest itself in low energy . So it pays to stay hydrated.
A lot of people are turning to a Jupiter antioxidant alkaline ionizer for relief of dehydration. because it reduces the size of the water molecular clusters. The result is up to 6 times more hydrating. These amazing devices “split” the water into two different streams. 70% comes out as alkaline antioxidant water and the 30% is acid water. We drink the alkaline water and feed our plants the acid water. To quote Dr. Robert O. Young a noted alkalinity researcher and author “Just about every condition I can think of, from arthritis to diabetes to cancer is associated with acidity.” Researchers are starting to believe that disease is caused by excess acidity in our body. So drinking alkaline water is a great way to combat our excess intake of acid, which in turns balances out our pH levels, boosting health and vitality. Some people these days don’t care to much for the water from the sink, so they buy drinking water. While this can help to ensure that your family is getting clean safe drinking water it can also become an expensive solution. The average household can spend $700 or more on bottled water per year. That’s a lot of money. Even when you purchase bottled water you still have to trust the companies that you are purchasing this water from. Several studies have show that isn’t always safe. Another way is that many people have looked at is a countertop filtration device. These filters are very inexpensive and simple to install on your faucets, with little or no plumbing knowledge.
When your family has one of these filters you don’t need to purchase additional water because it actually cleans and filters contaminants from your tap water. These filters also provide a level of control over the safety of your home drinking water that you would otherwise have to leave in the hands of for profit companies or state run facilities. Countertop water filters are a safe, easy and effective way for everyone who wants safe water without breaking their bank account. We found a good model, called the Aquasana AQ-4000 at Better Water Store.

A water ionizer is a machine that can be used to stabilize the acid and alkaline balance in our body. It will also filter impurities present in water and dissociate the salt into ions such as sodium, an ion having positive charge and chlorine, the ion having a negative charge. In making the water alkaline from its acidic state by the addition of a water ionizer, the body’s fluid balance will be restored.
Another way to describe a water ionizer is that it is a device used to produce electrical charge to the water being ionized and dissociating salt compounds in water through the released electrodes. The water that is ionized is called alkaline antioxidant water, it is the water that contains positive and negatively charges ions such as magnesium, calcium, sodium and etc. This water can be used for drinking and cooking purposes. Other bottle water also undergoes ionization to concentrate the present alkaline minerals.
Having a water ionizer is a good idea because it will give you and your family a clean, safe and water that contains preserved minerals. Aside from that, it can also give you health benefits like antioxidant effect and many more.

Why do we need a shower filter? Did you know that there is poisonous chlorine in your water? The same water you use to drink, cook and bathe with on a daily basis. Its a scary thought the amount of chlorine that you consume on a daily basis.
Its obvious that you would absorb the chlorine from tap water when you drink it, but what about when you shower? Unfortunately most people do not realize that when you shower you are actually absorbing more chlorine, faster than when you drink it. The pores in your skin opens up with the heat of the water and since chlorine vaporizes at a low temperature, it is easily absorbed into your skin.
Fortunately there is an easy way to get rid of this problem. We recently purchased a Aquasana shower filter to replace our old shower head. The shower filter has provided us with clean chlorine free water every time we take a shower. Our skin and hair condition has improved and there is the added bonus of not absorbing all that nasty chlorine into our body everyday.

Is swine flu still something to be worried about? This morning South Africa reported its first death the swine flu after around 500 reported cases since mid June. Even months after the initial frenzy over swine flu there are still lingering affects and cases still being reported.
Is this something to worry about though? To put this in perspective here are some facts. Each year over half a million Americans die from cancer, over forty thousand people die from drunk driving related accidents each year. 5.4 million deaths world wide from smoking related diseases are reported each year. And the whooping total for swine flu comes to an astounding 353.
Lets just say with standard precautions like washing your hands after using the bathroom, and not being exposed to sick people on a daily basis without proper procedure you will more than likely be just fine. No need to go buy new hazmat suits for the family. Don’t worry folks, just another good old fashion media induced hype.
