Going On Vacation To Williamsburg VA
Posted in Uncategorized on 04/10/2009 12:52 am byGot a summertime vacation coming up and we decided to go to historic Williamsburg,VA for our vacation. Our kids who are 10 and 13 are really looking forward to it. We picked Williamsburg because it is a great place to combine a history trip with some fun. Historic Colonial Williamsburg is what they call the historic triangle. Jamestown the first English settlement, Yorktown the end of the revolutionary war and Colonial Williamsburg where you can go on Duke of Gloucester street and see a church where Thomas Jefferson and George Washington attended.
Next, you can have a lot of fun in Williamsburg. There are a lot of great restaurants, golf courses and shopping. Then there is Busch Gardens which is one of the great theme parks. Too warm? Then go to Water Country U.S.A, where you can cool off for hours at a time. So you see there is a lot to do in Williamsburg. The town is clean and not overly touristy. People are very friendly. This is our second time in Williamsburg and we still haven’t see it all. Check it out. We’re sure you’ll have a good time.
