Advantages of Undercounter Water Filters

Most people by now know the advantages of drinking filtered water: reduced contaminants, better taste and a huge cost savings over bottled water.  What you may not know is that an undercounter water filter system can provide long term savings and convenience over tradition countertop or faucet style water filter systems.

An undercounter water filter system will initially cost more to purchase and install than a countertop, faucet or pitcher system but over time it will pay for itself.  For one thing, an undercounter system is infinitely more convenient than any other available system. Once installed, it blends in with your existing faucet – saving counter space and allowing the dispensing of fresh water for any use.

A faucet filter is bulky and prone to breakage, especially when washing dishes.  Pitcher filters are only good one pitcher at a time and take up room in your refrigerator.  Countertop filters take up space and can be easily knocked over.  All these filter systems have shorter a lifespan than an undercounter filter system.  Once installed, an undercounter system will be protected from damage and will only require periodic replacement of the filter itself.   Not having to replace an entire system every few years will save you time and money!
